This project was focussed around the idea of sustainability, and creating work out of existing products, giving them a new lease of life. My starting product was an old oak chair. I took the pieces apart and created this Automata with a working cog system. No parts were left over and everything was used in some way to create the final outcome - with the only additional parts being pant, glue and a small amount of wire.
