I founded Saffron Skies in early 2020 as an accessories and gift shop designed to oppose the current fast-fashion, trend led business model. It has since grown into a successful, sustainable small business selling handmade clothing, accessories and homewares made from 100% repurposed fabric.

Everything is completely handmade in our West Yorkshire studio, with a few select pieces made by family and friends in my hometown of Chester. We have a zero-waste approach, keeping all of our offcuts for patchwork, appliqué and even our mini scraps bundles sold on Etsy and in local shops.
We release small collections inspired by the beautiful fabrics we have available and encourage people to make considered purchases, to make sure the materials will be used, loved and kept out of landfill for years to come.
All of our packaging is plastic-free and we use watercolour paint to add hand-painted details as well as a wooden logo stamp for a more traditional handcrafted look.
